Tigres Chilchota 2024 International Academies Tournament: A resounding success!
More than 3,500 promising young soccer players enjoyed the excitement of the event in Monterrey
From April 2 to 6, the city of Monterrey dressed up to welcome more than 3,500 young soccer players from Mexico, the United States, Canada and Argentina to the **Torneo Internacional de Academias Tigres Chilchota 2024**. This traditional competition, now in its 19th year, brought together the world’s best quarries in an exciting sporting event.
An event of international stature
Over the course of five days, the fields of the **Cueva de Zuazua, UANL Sports Center, UANL Sports Department, Canchas OB3 and Unidad Deportiva Lázaro Cárdenas** became the stage for vibrant matches where the talent and passion of future soccer stars were put to the test.
More than 120 academies in competition
In this edition of the tournament, a total of 120 internationally renowned academies competed for the title in 14 categories, both male and female. Among the participants were teams of the stature of **FC Barcelona**, **Real Madrid CF**, **Manchester United FC**, **Inter Milan**, **River Plate**, **Flamengo**, **Tigres UANL**, **Chivas de Guadalajara** and **Monterrey Rayados**.
A show for the whole family
Beyond the sporting competition, the **Torneo Internacional de Academias Tigres Chilchota 2024** offered a complete experience for the whole family. Attendees were able to enjoy various recreational, cultural and gastronomic activities, creating a festive and memorable atmosphere.
